Having purchased this car last Autumn (2005) I am going to give it to my father as a birthday present. He retires this week in February and has always loved these cars. It was him that first got me interested in Triumphs before I passed my driving test. Now been driving them since 1985 and love them more now than then.
This is in exceptional condition for its age. The chap I bought it from had an inspection pit so I had a comfortable look at the underside without laying on my back which isn't much fun here in the autumn of England.
A really solid car with one or two very small welding repairs.
You seem to have to stand on the brakes a bit too much but I will soon overhaul them and the clutch release bearing is a bit noisey, again I'll soon sort that out. And like my estate will eventually have the Strombergs changed for SU's, but generally a great car.
