MODIFICATIONS, CONVERSIONS, HISTORY
Car Originally from New Orleans. I believe I am at least the fourth owner. I know the carbs were last rebuilt in New Orleans as the shop stickers are still on carbs. The previous two owners were in Maryland, they combined had put maybe a thousand miles on the car in the past 10 years. Car is in great shape with no rust. I replaced thrust washer to Scott Helms unit first thing. Removed interior and repainted the floorboards. Replaced clutch, main seal, pilot bushing was bad and ring gear had backed up off the flywheel. Have gone with blue radiator and heater hoses under the hood. Looks great, I don't care for the green and/or black hoses. Car is good runner with perfect suspension, brakes and drive train. Previous owner had to sell the car, but had put a lot of time and effort into it. Car has too many new parts to list. Interior needs to be redone; going Black with Blue piping on seats, maybe. What an easy car to work on. Why these cars aren't off the chart yet, I have no idea? Parts are available, easy to work on, Decent six banger, great performance, a whole host of fun upgrades available. Outstanding little machines, get yours while they are still inexpensive.
