MODIFICATIONS, CONVERSIONS, HISTORY
Built 1998/99 for Targa Tas. 1999, Winton 6 hour, Tour De Course by Paris Performance in Melb. Acquired by Webbs 2002, extensive 18mnth rebuild, bigger brakes, TRS race heads, new Rover intake, improved cooling, & upgraded suspension. Entered Rallye Burnie 2004, Rally Tas 05. After Mt Buller & Rally Tas in 06, body resprayed, engine refurbished for Targa Tas. 2007. After which major engine change to 4Ltr (rules) and further suspension improvements. Car returned in 2008 to original chequered flag livery - probably one of the oldest TR7 V8/TR8 rally cars still competing in Aust. Current owners continue to use and enjoy this delightful car in both circuit racing and tarmac rallies as & when the need for speed dictates!!
