MODIFICATIONS, CONVERSIONS, HISTORY
A wreck. Paid for it and had it shipped to Denmark without knowing what I had purchased, hopefully one day it will be a car again.
If anyone knows the story of my car I'll be a happy man.
I have begun to dismantle the car and I'm happy to say that their is almost no serious rust is only surface rust. The only corrosion is in the rear fender of a non-treated detriment of the past.
May 4, 2010:
Ok, I've found some rust and unfortunately a broken pin in dif. mounting. I'm scratching sealer and underboddy material to get ready for sandblasting.
April 12, 2012:
Everything on chasiet is sandblasted and primed with epoxy primer.
The frame was sandblasted and painted with Hammerit.
All bushings are changed to poly bushings
New brake caliber and discs
New brake lines and hoses
New wheel bearings
Steering renovated
Solid Steering Rack Mountings
Rear GAZ adjustable tube Shock Absorber Kit
Differential renovated
The engine has been renovated and painted:
New pistons
