MODIFICATIONS, CONVERSIONS, HISTORY
Update December 31, 2012: removed body from chassis. Body is relatively rust free-some small rust through in small areas of the rockers but very solid elsewhere. (A lot less rust on this GT6 than there was on the TR6 that I restored a few years ago.) Frame is from a Damson colored car and is very solid-some slight rust damage to passenger side outrigger. Restoration will start on the frame first and then the body.
Just purchased. Plan to completely restore. Started "deconstruction".
Original seized engine torn apart. Was in a flood-pistons seized in bores. Got one piston out-5 are there to stay. Hardened mud in oil pan. Backup engine spins freely!
