MODIFICATIONS, CONVERSIONS, HISTORY
I am the 3rd owner of this car, it spent the first 6 years of its life in Port Mcquarie NSW then the next 17 years in Taree NSW and it now resides in the Wingham NSW area. Dolly was left under a tree for 2 years before I found her. After trailering her home I striped it down to the last nut & bolt & removed the old paint down to bare metal.
600 hrs of my lobour plus full engine recondition and spray painted in 2 pac paint then the Dolly was ready for rego. The car is close to original condition i.e. Mimosa yellow & black vinyl roof except for colour coded bumperettes & yellow front spoiler.
The Dolly took out the 2002 T.S.O.A. NSW Peoples Choice Award at their annual Concorse day. Also took out the best 70's vehicle trophy at a car show - Forster NSW.
I'm very pleased with the car and it sits very nicely with all my other Triumph's.Dolly is the pride of the collection. Dolly took out another award in Oct. 2005, Peoples choice at the Wingham Rally with the STCC of NSW.
