SITE MEMBERS' CARS

the car was abandoned at a factory carpark 2 years ago,but seems to be in pretty good condition.The factory manager said it was left by a former employee because the auto trans packed up.
.i finally got into the car and it started and ran fine after turning it over for about a minute. not bad considering how long its been standing.1 month after purchase i finally got it home, i noticed a horrible metalic sound coming from the rear and mybe the diffs shot but i had a look and i guess with the exhaust pushed against the tail shaft it is going to make a racket.most running gear seems pretty new so im in the process of knocking some small dings out.Ifound no rust at all in the shell ,thats one thing i like about trumpy,s they never seem to rust much, having owned a 71 pi 20 yrs ago until some bright spark tboned me,the 1 thing i noticed then after it was hit with the sills torn off that the metal was like new. IF ANYONE CAN TELL ME WHAT TYPE OF WOOD IS USED ON THE INTERIOR TRIM & WHAT COLOUR STAIN IS USED AS I WANT TO KEEP IT ORIGINAL ALSO WHERE I CAN GET A GOOD PAINT COLOUR MATCH. getting it on the road things to do to get it on the road knock out dings in both front wings, passenger front door and a few other minor ones on the body,replace drivers seat,indicator / headlight dipswitch.Repair carpet ... more
