Electric Power Steering Conversion

Adding the Electric Power Steering System from a XC Barina (Vauxhall Corsa) I started looking for this kind of PAS conversion after I broke my elbow in 2003 and the TR7V8 was no longer a fun drive but a pain. After about 2 years talking to S&S Preparations in UK about the kit being available when they finally got it you had to have it installed by them. Bit hard from other side of the world Eh? I researched the system on the forums and got a good bit of info from some guys in the UK. The system is out of a Vauxhall Corsa a popular car in UK. There was a A B & C version of this PAS. Only go for C others are problematic. Now when I was looking to buy all the bits to get this together it was not as available as it is now. So I found the Barina XC uses same here in OZ. Went to local wreckers and purchased the whole steering column wheel included and had them cut off the wiring as far as they could. It then took me another 2 years to finally get it installed as the system is speed sensitive in the modern cars but as the TR did not have an ECU that would take this feature progress stopped. Then I came across a guy in UK David Hyland who sells matchbox size controller on Ebay so you can set it to a place you are happy with a small adjustable screw on side. Comes with full wiring diagrams of how to install. Now available on Ebay UK from user dongiles9rbr So then I just needed to get it engineered to replace the TR steering column my guy Jim is happy to take calls about what he did but is not computer literate. If you have a look at my link you can see photos
