Gday mates! I am indeed apart of the reading family in hobart and we all have Triumph’s.
My Triumph was brought at an auction by my pop (Grame Reading). I was originally going to be using this as a first car, but then I brought myself a 1985 BMW 323i M (see Owner’s other cars:), which had a few minor easy fixable problems. As a result of buying the BMW I decided to sell the truimph, which is very sad because this car is in mint condition. I have recently purchased a Subaru Forester (see owner’s other cars) which i use a lot for bushwalking, work, going to uni and just general everyday driving.
The front right side guard of the triumph was fixed and the whole car was resprayed, same colour (silver). The body was in mint condition. It still contained all the original interior, and the seats were in prefect condition. When I replaced the old (original) battery, with a top quality “champion” brand, the triumph started up first go, its amazing, shows you the brilliance of the engineering of these cars!!!
I miss the silver straight 6 beast, and i wish it all the best!
Adam
