In 2000 this 100% original rust free TR 250 had just completed a complete restoration by an older Italian gentleman that owns a sports car restoration and custom car business just over the border in Missouri. The car was slightly modified during its restoration to the shop owners liking (the fender beading was not replaced and the rear deck seams were brass welded smooth…his reasoning was that he felt that these two areas is were water would end up sitting and could cause a problem at a later time…it also gives a very clean look to the car…the car was redone so beautifully you wouldn’t notice it in less I told you.). This car really had a look all it’s own.

In April of 2002 the previous owner purchased the car. Then in April of 2004, I bought the car for my birthday! It’s been love ever since! I was a little concerned with the fact that it had some modifications, but lthey are hardly noticeable and gives this car a super clean and aggressive look. Now that I have it I wouldn’t change a single thing! It definitely has a look of its own and I just love it!

This 1968 Triumph TR250 was kept private all it’s life until 2002 were it was featured (full page article) in the “Reading Eagle” in Pennsylvania and in (full page article) the “The Topeka Capital-Journal” in Kansas, both with full colored pictures and both article promoted the Concours d’Elegance. It was also featured in the News of Southern Berks (1/2 page article) as well as being the Featured car on the “My Classic Car” (TV Show) web site. It was also featured in the Vintage Triumph Register Magazine number 84 Fall/Winter 2002, nice article with two color pictures.

Since I have owned it I have put a few changes in place. New silver Panasports which really sets off the Silver nose stripe against the Royal Blue paint. Installed the Pertronix package, new suspension bushings and uprated springs. It is truly a great and fun car.
