Set up with a 302 Ford V8 set well back in the car, T5 Transmission, narrowed Jaguar XKE independent rear suspension. Modified chassis and front suspension, 16 point semi-roll cage. Rebuilding the car now with a Chevy engine instead, and all new chassis. Wheels are 8 spoke Empi 15 X 5.5 wheels w/ 185/65/15 tires in front. In back, 8 spoke Koenig Rewind 15 X 7 wheels w/ 235/60/15 tires. Very much a work in progress, still, after many years. Currently working on the front suspension. I’m using TR6 uprights with the peg machined for a spherical bearing at the bottom instead of trunnions. I’ll be fabricating lower control arms. I’m doing this for increased caster with adjust-ability, rather than a fixed setting.
This car was originally Signal Red and came factory equipped with the optional aluminum hard top.
