feb10: installing 300ZX VLSD together with CV axles, Alfins
dec09: MOT
oct09: car running smoothly and finetuned on rolling road after running in.
jul09: modified and reconditioned triple Weber 40DCOM with pipercross trumpets and socks
15mar09: switched to triple 40DHLA

21dec08: engine and body together, started with dasboard and wiring project, added 16×7 rims, coming weeks trying to get it running. gearbox mount fr j-type in a-type chassis.

25oct08: revised and modified gearbox based on Dolomite Sprint using Saloon input shaft; all steel uprated bushes, additional layshaft cage bearings installed etc. (with the help and knowledge of a very helpful clubmember) Following step to install engine and gearbox in car again.
05dec07: Reinforcement of front-suspension !
19may07: Paintjob finalized; next step to build it up again!! Curious concerning # of horses in fresh engine!
8apr07: paintshop promised to finalize next week!
4apr07: after almost one year at the paintshop, they finally made some progress….
20jan2007: added some pics of sandblasted tub, will be painted the following next weeks!

Bought this car straight from Seattle in 1992 from a picture!! After 13 years and a lot of fun and slight modifications on the car I decided to create my own style TR6. This in terms of technical modifications and body(style) mods!!

Recently build a fresh Fastlorry engine CF38450UF:
-both crank and rodbearings still standard size!!
-219019 head ported and flowbench tested together with triple SU-manifold
-Chris Witor valves 36,75 in-31,25 exh
-custommade valve-guides
-alu valve caps anodized
-dual heavy duty valve springs
-280 degrees Chris Witor cam with adjustable timing gear
-block line-bored to accept cam-bearings
-blueprinted oilpump
-roller rocker 1.65, .465 valve lift
-.040 overbore
-10,25CR
-light flywheel 4,5 kg
-ARP-flywheel bolts
-everything lightened and knife-edge balanced
-triple SU HIF44 induction
-6-2-1 extractor manifold with big bore single silencer
-TR5 distributor advanced curve
-Stag gearbox with 25% J/OD and Dolomite Sprint gearset in Saloon box,

Drivetrain mods:
-Nissan 300ZX LSD 4.08:1 (will adjust to 3.9:1)
-Adjustable rear trailing-arm brackets (www.goodparts.com)
-Over-diff swaybar rear (www.tr-nord.de)
-Lowered suspension
-nylatron bushing front
-superflex rear
-spax tele-conversion
-205/55/16 (front) and 225/50/16 (back) on Konig Rewinds 16×7
-Fat front swaybar.

Exterior: Surrey-top with integrated roll-bar. Surrey is same color as black on the rear of the car. No bumpers due to weight control!!
Will powdercoat one set of the Shelby wheels black and fit them with Yokohama A048 205/60/15 for trackdays and sideways in the rain!

April 1st, 2006: car to bodyshop for onbody restoration, eventually body-off! Pictures will follow! Rallye vents will be created including shaved fenders!
